Turnpike closure planned overnight

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - March 15, 2008 The extension will be closed from midnight to 6 a.m. Sunday, between the Mid-County Interchange and the Lansdale exit.

Towamencin Supervisors President Dan Littley says repairs will be done on the Kriebel and Bethel Road bridges.

Littley says motorists leaving the turnpike during the closure will be given written detour directions and members of the Towamencin Police Department will be on duty to assist.
