An Atlantic City man has been charged with the death of a Somers Point woman found dead in her bedroom late Tuesday afternoon. The Atlantic County prosecutor's office says 22-year old Najee Kelsey of 1039 Sewell Avenue is charged with strangling 19-year old Tanisha Tull.

At 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, police were called to the Carriage House apartment complex on New Road in Somers Point and found Tull dead in the bedroom of her apartment.

Officials say Kelsey and Tull had gotten into an argument earlier on Tuesday, and that Kelsey broke into Tull's apartment, assaulted her and strangled her. Kelsey is charged with murder, and burglary and is being held on $750,000 bail pending a hearing Thursday morning in Atlantic County Superior Court.
