The Indiana Department of Homeland Security says one person as has drowned and another is missing in the floodwaters. Agency spokesman John Erickson says the drowning was on Interstate 70 in western Indiana. He did not have more details on Sunday morning.

To the south in Seymour, a rising White River has forced the mandatory evacuation of more than 100 homes.

The National Weather Service says some parts of the state could see record flooding since up to 10 inches of rain deluged the area this weekend.
