Police car accident injures two officers

Two Philadelphia police officers are hospitalized after their cruiser slammed into a building in North Philadelphia. It happened around 8 p.m. at 22nd and Cecil B. Moore.

Police say the 23rd District officers were responding to a priority call when they encountered a civilian car in their path. In an effort to dodge the civilian car, the officer lost control and hit the wall.

Both officers were taken to Temple University Hospital for treatment on minor injuries. No civilians were injured.
