A pen full of potbellied pigs have been rescued from a Northeastern Pennsylvania farm. Officers with humane society say the 54 pigs were cramped together without adequate food or water in a dirty barn in Meshoppen, Wyoming County.

The animals were taken away for treatment, all are said to be doing okay.

Officials are hoping people will come forward to adopt the pigs as pets.
