Falling tree injures SEPTA passengers

A tree in Delaware County fell, hurting 5.

The tree fell and brought down live wires between West Thompson Avenue and West Woodland Avenue around 9 a.m. in Springfield, Pa.

Officials say there were about 20 people on the trolley at the time of the accident. Five of them suffered minor injuries.

SEPTA brought shuttle buses to transport passengers between the Media and Drexel junctions.
