Suspect crashes, gets impaled on fence - Philadelphia News

PHILADELPHIA - August 7, 2008 Police say the 19-year old man tried to get away on foot.

But he slipped while trying to hop a wrought iron fence and impaled himself.

Medics carefully removed him and took him to Thomas Jefferson Hospital where he is listed in critical condition.

He was wanted on 22 driving violations.
