Fire guts Atlantic City boarding house

Firefighters had to run out of the building when the roof started to collapse.

Fire has gutted an Atlantic City boarding house and left several families homeless.

The blaze broke out on Wednesday morning at about four, in the structure at Indiana and Arctic Avenues.

At one point firefighters had to pull out of the building because the roof was about to collapse.

There are no reports of injuries. Investigators hope to look for the cause later this morning.
