The highly unusual thing about August 2008 was the lack of 90-degree days! We only had one day in all of August that reached 90 degrees (August 6th). In a typical August, we hit 90- degrees or higher 6 to 7 times. In fact, just last year in August 2007, we had 9 days with a high temperature of 90 or above.- Erica
