Prosecutors say /*Milton Street*/ willfully avoided paying taxes on nearly $3 million in income. He was sentenced Friday, handcuffed and ordered to start serving his time immediately.
The 69-year-old Street says he had a hard time keeping track of his finances. He told the judge he gave some of his money to the poor.
He says the money "was like ice. It was melting as fast as I was getting it."
