Witnesses say Galveston police needlessly Tasered, pepper-sprayed, and beat the father of the bride and guests, including Houston Astros pitcher Brandon Backe.
Backe and nine others were arrested. Police say the incident began when a guest was spotted with open alcohol by a pool.
Police say did not use excessive force.
An internal police investigation is underway.
