CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) - November 20, 2008
Thursday marks the 13th day that informant Mahmoud Omar is on the stand in the case against of five
men accused of planning to kill soldiers at the New Jersey military
installation.
Omar has said that he did not speak directly to some suspects
about attacking Fort Dix. But he says one, Mohamad Shnewer, was serious about his intentions to
invade.
The five men could face life in prison if they're convicted.
They are charged with conspiring to kill military personnel and
attempted murder.
No attack was carried out.
