Victims can claim stolen items

LANSDALE, Pa. - December 16, 2008 - This, as the alleged thief cools his heels behind bars.

42 year old Christopher Homoney has been charged with burglarizing three apartments in a Lansdale apartment complex.

But, investigators believe he may have committed at least 40 more daylight burglaries throughout Montgomery County.

They arrested him last Monday, and say the crime spree is now over.

Homoney has a long criminal history and has been arrested in the past for burglaries in Pennsylvania and New York.

He's being held on $75,000 cash bail.

Police say they've recovered hundreds of stolen items at his Harleysville home and from his car.

If you think your stuff is there, you'll be able to recover it at the Upper Dublin Police Department starting January 8th.

Police say no one was physically harmed during the burglaries, but some were terrorized when Homoney tried to force himself in.

Police were led to Homoney by a resident here who got his license tag number. Another identified his photo from a police lineup. She told police, "That's him. I'll never forget those eyes."
