Delaware State Police say two people are dead after a Dover-area house fire. Police say the bodies of a man and woman were found in the home in the 400 block of David Hall Road after firefighters put out the fire Thursday morning.

The Delaware Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause and origin of the fire.

When firefighters arrived about 5:30 a.m., they found the home fully engulfed in flames.

Police say David Hall Road is closed so drivers should seek alternate routes around the fire investigation.
