Van collides with tractor trailer

Three people were transported to a hospital after a van crashed into a tractor trailer. TRAVEL LINKS: The accident happened around 6:35 on Route 206 near Columbus Jobbstown Road in Mansfield Township.

Police say it appears the diver of the tractor trailer was attempting to make a u-turn when the collision occurred.

Rescue crews were able to extricate the all three occupants of the van. They transported to Helne Fuld Medical Center. Their conditions are unknown.

Both occupants of the tractor trailer were uninjured in the crash.

Route 206 was shutdown in both directions for approximately 4 hours.

The cause of the collision is under investigation. There are no charges as of this time.
