When police responded, they found Maurice Williams, 22, of Brooklyn, New York dead of a gunshot wound to the head.
On Thursday, August 27, 2009, suspect Andy Lovell Reese was arrested at the Smithfield Meat Packing Plant in Smithfield, Virginia where he worked. He was taken to jail and is awaiting extradition. He ha been charged with the killing.
Also arrested in Paul Sean Jones, 31 of Allentown. He was arrested on Friday, August 28th. He was already in prison on unrelated charges.
The arrests came after witness testimony was presented by the D.A.'s office. The Grand Jury handed up a presentment on August 7th and charges were approved.
