A gang of men on all terrain vehicles chased down and ran over a man in Philadelphia's West Kensington section. It happened in the 3400 block of Hurley Street around 7:30 p.m. on Monday.

Investigators say the gang, riding 8 ATVs, surrounded the car of 29-year-old Carl Elliot.

His sister, Selena, described how it all started.

"All because they were trying to get around him and they nicked the back of his vehicle and their quad got scratched."

Police say Elliot tried to drive away, and hit some parked cars. That's when one of the pursuers smashed the car's windshield with a sidewalk planter.

Elliot tried to flee on foot, and police say that's when he was run over by the ATVs.

He was taken to Temple University Hospital in critical condition. His sister says he was last reported in stable condition in a lot of pain and he was suffering from seizures.

Elliot is a father of seven kids.

Police are looking for the men responsible for this attack.
