Investigators say Berry wanted the keys to her father's apartment, but he refused to give them to her. She became irate and started yelling and cursing at her father, police say, and tried to punch him in the face.
Berry missed, but she then allegedly pushed him to the ground, got on top of him, and bit his left cheek.
By the time police arrived, Berry was outside. She was arrested and charged with 2nd degree assault and menacing. She was sent to prison after failing to post $3,500 bail.
She was also ordered to have no contact with her father.
