Restaurant in possible hate crime burglarized

The FBI and the Philadelphia police are back out at a restaurant that was targeted in an apparent hate crime this summer.

Investigators were at the Premium Seafood Shop at 5th and Roosevelt after it was broken into Wednesday night and the cash register was stolen.

For now, police are investigating this as a burglary.

In an incident back on August 20th, large refrigerated display counters and other equipment were overturned. Glass windows and doors were shattered, food was strewn all over, and the walls were spray-painted with graffiti, telling Iranians to go home.

The owners are not from Iran, but are Palestinian-Americans.
