Animal remains found inside Feltonville home

FELTONVILLE - December 27, 2009

The skeletal remains of roosters, rams, sheep, chickens, turtles, deer, and at least two monkeys were found, according to SPCA officials.

The SPCA believes the sacrifices are part of some sort of religious ritual, possibly satanic.

Candles, buckets of blood, and relics littered every room. The basement was covered in fecal matter.

A neighbor called the SPCA reporting two dogs weren't being cared for on the property. After posting a warning, the officials served a search warrant around 4:00 p.m. Sunday and made the discovery.

A neighbor told Action News he often heard drums and music coming from the home.

SPCA investigators are now trying to track down the owner of the home who could face animal cruelty charges.

Reports indicate the owner may be in Mexico.

An AK-47 was also found in the home. Police are handling that investigation.
