Earl Bradley is to be arraigned Wednesday in Sussex County Superior Court. It is unclear whether he will formally enter a plea in person or by video from prison, where he is being held under $2.9 million bail.
Public defenders Dean Johnson and Stephanie Tsantes will be representing Bradley. His two private lawyers left the case after the attorney general's office moved to freeze Bradley's assets, making it difficult for them to hire experts and mount a defense.
The charges against Bradley include rape, sexual exploitation of a child, unlawful sexual contact, continuous sexual abuse of a child, assault, and reckless endangering.
