Officials say a crew member aboard the Carol S called the Coast Guard via radio around 11:35 a.m., saying it was in trouble about two miles north of Townsends Inlet in Cape May County.
A rescue boat crew from Coast Guard Station Cape May soon arrived on scene and helped pump water from the Carol S, then escorted it back to a marina in Sea Isle City.
