Police were called to the scene in the 6100 block of Cottage Street just after 3:30 a.m. There, they found 52-year-old Candido Hildago with multiple stab wounds lying on the pavement.
Hildago was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say the people inside the home were sleeping when it all happened.
Police aren't releasing any leads on a possible suspect at this time.
