Two people were critically hurt when a car slammed into a telephone pole, tearing the car in half.
The accident happened on Albany Avenue in front of Atlantic City High School.
Firefighters worked for a half hour to free the occupants trapped in the wreckage.
They are being treated at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center.
The cause of the crash hasn't been released
