Police responded to 57th and Rodman streets in Cobbs Creek early Saturday morning.
Police say a man and his girlfriend driving through the area came upon two young men on bikes blocking the road.
When the man got out of his car, he allegedly pulled out a gun and told them to move. Police say one of the bicylcists was also carrying a gun.
Gunfire then erupted.
Several bullets fatally struck the driver in the head and chest.
Police captured one of the suspects with the other still on the loose.
