Police say the woman was in line around 2:30 a.m. Sunday in parking lot of Club Enigma on Old Capital Trail in Wilmington when she heard a bang and felt something go through her hair. She saw blood on her shoulder and realized she had been shot.
The woman was taken to Wilmington Hospital where she was treated and released.
Police say witnesses saw a dark-colored vehicle speed out of the area. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact police.
