Officials say the work will begin Wednesday. The affected ramps include Interstate 95 southbound to Interstate 295 northbound. Ramps along Interstate 495 southbound to I-295 northbound also will be affected.
The closures will be from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday through Friday. In case of bad weather, contractors may work on the weekend from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.
The detour is along the Delaware 141 interchange to I-95 northbound to I-295.
Officials say there also will be some daytime repairs performed but workers will use closed shoulders and barriers.
