4 men sought in Bucks County carjacking

LEVITTOWN, Pa. - September 15, 2010

The incident happened around 11:45 a.m. Wednesday shortly after Diamond Check Cashing employee, Archie Watkins of Philadelphia, made a stop at the store on New Falls Road.

The victim tells police he was followed.

According to authorities, while Watkins was driving through a nearby development in the Queen Anne section of Levittown, a small car and van came upon him, one from the front and the other from the back, and boxed his car in near the intersection of Quarry and Quill roads.

Police say four men wearing bandanas to cover their faces and armed with guns their jumped out and pulled Watkins from his Toyota Avalon.

He was not seriously hurt but the suspects took his gun and his vehicle with the cash and fled the scene.

Police had the two suspect vehicles towed from the scene, both of which are believed to have been reported stolen.

Police are asking for help from the public and are now searching for the white 2006 Toyota Avalon with PA tag GMW-4102
