Police: Upper Township crash victim critical, but stable

UPPER TOWNSHIP, N.J. - October 10, 2010

The accident occurred at around 7:30 Sunday morning on Roosevelt Boulevard near the Garden State Parkway in Upper Township.

The accident involved a box truck and a Chevrolet TrailBlazer SUV.

Police say the driver of the TrailBlazer, 20-year-old Matthew Flynn of Upper Township, was headed east on CR 623 when for an unknown reason crossed into the westbound lane and struck the White Ford Box Truck head on

The trucked was being driven by 30-year-old Manoa Balmuena-Santana of Pleasantville, along with a passenger.

Flynn was airlifted to Atlantic City Medical Center and is in critical, but stable condition, according to state police.

The other 2 were transported to Shore Memorial Hospital for back and neck pain.
