The Tampa Tribune reports that Banton's attorney notified the court Tuesday of the offer. The property is valued at $350,000. Stephen Marley is a Grammy winner who beat Banton to win for best reggae album this year.
Last month, a judge declared a mistrial for Banton. He is accused of conspiring to buy cocaine from an undercover officer.
Banton has been held without bail since his December arrest. A federal judge has said he would allow him to be released pending his next trial under various conditions. A Wednesday hearing is scheduled.
If he is released, Banton's attorneys must ask an immigration judge to issue a similar order.
