The man presented a demand note shortly before 6:00 p.m. Thursday night at the Republic Bank in the 800 block of Chestnut Street. He fled on foot after receiving approximately $100 in $20 bills.
He's described as a black male about 5'7" wearing a white thermal shirt, a grey hoodie, black pants and a black skull cap.
Police are continuing to investigate.
There were no injuries reported.
