It happened around 11:30 a.m. in the 5500 block of Greenway Avenue.
Investigators say the 28-year-old victim was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania with stab wounds to the head, neck and back. He was last listed in critical condition.
Police say it is unclear what led to the stabbing.
The names of those involved have not yet been released.
