"We even had to get our tree today. We are really running late," said Ebony Burke.
With Christmas just hours away this is the realm of the true last minute shopper.
"Well, I forgot something for my sister," said Meredith Bartlett.
Flying out of the store, stuff for under the tree, as well as the holiday table.
"Everything's going. They said they had like 4,000 pies, and there's only a few left. So everybody's buying up Mrs. Smith's pies," said Vickie.
For some, last minute shopping is a proud tradition.
"It's a regular thing for me. I always do that," said Baston Waters.
"I'm just that kind of guy, last minute," said Bruce Binnie.
For others, last minute shopping is a strategy. It fires the juices of the true bargain hunter.
"I'm so tired," said Carla Edmonds. "But it was worth the wait. They had some good bargains."
"Sales. Last minute sales. They start dropping prices. Big bargains. Christmas Eve is the best time to shop," said Shardae McAlister.
