Driver critical after Roosevelt Blvd. crash

A man was critically injured during an accident on Roosevelt Boulevard.

The crash occurred around 4:00 p.m. at the Roosevelt Extension near Fox Street.

Police say the driver of a car heading south on the extension lost control, struck a median, and then another car.

One driver, described as a 36-year-old man, was rushed to Hahnemann Hospital.

It is not clear which car he was in.

At this time, no word what caused the driver to lose control.

Philadelphia police are investigating.
