New Castle County police have charged a 16-year-old in a fatal shooting last month in Wilmington.

Police said Tuesday that they have arrested Theodore Jackson of Wilmington. He is charged with first-degree murder in the death of 21-year-old David Johnson. Jackson is being held without bail.

Delaware State Police were called to a Sunoco gas station at Robinson Lane and Maryland Avenue about 9:15 p.m. Jan. 30 for an injured man lying in the snow on a sidewalk.

Police say the man was taken to Christiana Hospital, where he died of an apparent gunshot wound.
