City officials may have to void more than a million bucks worth of tickets.
A local television station reports that those tickets were issued by two city workers who aren't authorized to write them.
The station reports the two didn't have current "special police officer" status needed to issue a parking citation.
Each wrote up to 100 tickets a day.
City officials say they're seeking legal advice and may refund the parking fines.
