Man shot in Delco 7-Eleven parking lot
UPPER DARBY, Pa. - September 3, 2011
It started around 4:30 Saturday morning, at the 7-Eleven on the 600 block of Long Avenue.
Police say several males got into an altercation in the store's parking lot. The males got into two vehicles and sped away with one chasing another.
The vehicles then stopped at another 7-Eleven near the 6900 block of Clinton Avenue where one of the males started making threats with a 2x4 piece of wood in his hand.
During the incident someone pulled out a gun and fired shots, striking one of the males at least twice.
The victim sped away from the scene and was later found near South Lansdowne Avenue.
The victim was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. No word on his condition.
Multiple police departments are investigating the incident. No arrests have been made at this time.
