Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of N. Walnut Street around 4:00 p.m.
According to a New Castle County Paramedic spokesperson, a 46-year-old man was transported to Christiana Hospital suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the legs. He is in critical conditioni.
There were no arrests.
