The shooting happened around 4:00 p.m. at Palethorpe Street.
The victim, described as a 33-year-old man, suffered a gunshot wound to the arm. He then ran around the corner at 2nd Street and Godfrey Avenue and into a business where he collapsed.
Medics responded and rushed the man to Albert Einstein Medical Center for treatment.
There is no word yet on his condition.
No arrests have been made.
