NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA - October 11, 2011

Police say the passenger died overnight, hours after the car she was riding in landed upside down in the Pennypack Creek in Northeast Philadelphia.

The driver, 81-year-old Shirley Dougherty, was pronounced dead at the scene Monday afternoon.
