On October 1, at approximately 5:00 p.m., a male suspect entered the Cricket Store located at 3000 Island Avenue armed with a handgun, pointed it at the employee and demanded money from the register.
The suspect fled the store with approximately $90 and met up with another male wearing a red hooded sweater. Both offenders fled towards the Korman Suits Apartments.
At 6:38 p.m. the same evening, a male suspect entered the Radio Shack located at 2920 Island Avenue. Armed with a handgun, he pointed it at the employee demanding money.
The suspect made off with approximately $1,400 in cash. The employee looked outside noticing the second suspect walking away with the first suspect and fled the area in an unknown direction.
Then on October 7 at 3:15 p.m., two males approached the China House restaurant located at 2800 South 70th Street. The first suspect entered the restaurant armed with a handgun demanding money. The gunman went behind the counter and took approximately $80 from the register and left the store.
The second suspect did not enter the store but appeared to stand outside as a lookout.
