Two prisoners escape from Del. corrections facility
WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - October 24, 2011
Authorities said 24-year-old David Succarote and 21-year-old
Brandon Williams jumped over a wall at the Plummer Community
Corrections Center in Wilmington Sunday night and left the site
without authorization.
Succarote was serving an eight-month sentence for first-degree
robbery and had arrived at Plummer on Oct. 10.
Williams was serving a six-month sentence for violation of
probation on an original charge of second-degree burglary. He had
been at Plummer since Sept. 14.
Plummer is facility for offenders transitioning back into the
community. Such centers are not secured like prisons, and offenders
are permitted to the leave the facility to go to work, seek jobs or
attend approved treatment sessions.
