The jewelry section at your local craft store is the perfct place to get some beads and earring hoops.
String the beads onto the hoops making sure that you use a different color or stlye for each "earring" - instant wine glass charms! Pair them with a bottle of wine and you're all set.
Buy some oversize ornments at your local discount store along with some floral picks that coordinate with the colors.
Use hot glue to attach the picks and some ribbon to each ornament and you've got a great one of a kind oversized ornament for your hostess.
How about homemade bath salts. Combine a cup of epsom salts, a teaspoon of baking soda and five or so drops of essential oils in a pretty jar.
Mix thoroughly and attach a pretty card with directions for use. (add several tablespoonfuls to a warm bath).
Pictures are also a nice gift, find a shot of something that you and your friend did during the year and frame it up.
