The robbery happened at the Pretty Mini Mart store located on the 5200 block of Rising Sun Avenue.
While closing the store at 1:18 a.m. Wednesday, a store employee entered his vehicle in the parking lot when three masked men approached him, pointed a gun at him and ordered him to take them back into the store.
Police say two of the gunmen followed the employee into the store while the third stayed outside as a look out.
After getting an estimated $1,500 dollars in cash, 3 cartons of cigarettes and an undetermined amount of instant lottery tickets and the victim's keys, the men fled the store and remain at large.
During the robbery the employee was punched in the lip by one of the assailants but was otherwise not injured.
