8 displaced by house fire
CAMDEN, N.J. - December 23, 2011
It happened on South 24th Street around 1:30 a.m. Friday.
The flames started in the basement of a vacant house and then spread next door.
One adult, a five-year-old girl and a three-year-old boy were taken to the hospital to be checked out for smoke inhalation.
They were released a short time later.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
The Red Cross is helping the victims.
