Peru court sentences Van der Sloot to 28 years

Prosecutors who wanted a 30-year prison sentence for Joran van der Sloot will have to settle for 28 years. That was the sentence today in Peru, where the Dutchman had pleaded guilty to the murder of a woman he met in a casino in 2010.
