Twenty-five-year-old Jordan Thomas was charged this week. He was released on his own recognizance.
Troopers say in December, Thomas, girls junior varsity basketball coach at Cape Henlopen High School, gave a student a ride home. Police say Thomas kissed the girl twice.
Police say that, because of the sensitivity of this case and in consideration of the victim, only limited information will be released.
