Evesham Township Police say Joseph Del Rossi, 57, tested positive for DUI after crashing his SUV in Evesham Township on Sunday night.
The accident happened at 10:30 p.m. on Sagemore Drive.
Police say Del Rossi's SUV left the road, hit a pole, flipped on its side and ended up back on the road.
Police say Del Rossi told officers that he swerved to avoid a deer.
Officers administered a sobriety test.
Police say Del Rossi did not pass the test. He was subsequently charged with driving under the influence.
