Police say three cars rear-ended each other near Fox Street in the East Falls section of Philadelphia around 12:25 a.m. Friday.
Two people had to be taken to the hospital with multiple injuries. At last check, they were in stable condition.
Crews closed down the expressway briefly while they cleaned up the wreck. There's no word on what caused the crash.
