It happened around 3:00 a.m. Sunday on the 4500 block of North 3rd Street.
Arriving fire crews quickly brought the fire under control, and that's when they made the gruesome find.
Authorities say the woman appeared to have been shot multiple times. There were at least two bullet holes in the passenger side door.
So far no other information has been released.
